Well, I managed to (for the most part) finish the stuff I was working on. I didn't get to finish all the trim that was supposed to go on the dress and the headress never got done but the dress was wearable and received compliments.
The downfall, I don't seem to have a picture of it on me. I was hoping that someone else had taken one but I've not seen one yet. Bummer! . . . 4/11/09 Update . . I had the opportunity to wear the dress again and this time I asked for a picture to be taken. Yippee. And it's obvious to me from this picture that the dress is too large and doesn't fit properly.
Well, hopefully it was close enough to being accurate because I'm using the same design for another dress that I have to have done in a week and a half. Yikes! I guess I need to get sewing rather than blogging.
For the new garb, thus far, I've opted for the easy route and began on my husband's first. Next week will be dedicated to my garb.

Further update - I also got a picture taken of me in the coat . . however it the lighting for the photo turned everything yellowish. But the coat is definitely a better fit.
