I'll do a small roll hem in each slit. I'll create cuffs that are also similar to the chemise tight cuff to highlight the ruff I put at the end of the chemise cuff. Then I'll tack the openings closed at certain points. We'll see how it goes.
Originally started as a sewing diary I've expanded it to include all of my Arts & Sciences studies within the SCA (excluding fencing which is more martial) as well as my projects for the other time periods I study.

Sleeve Design
I'll admit that I didn't look too closely at the design offered in the website I've been patterning off of. But I think what I did devise will work quite well. I've taken the sleeve pattern from the chemise and use it for the sleeve of the dress and then cut slits for the viewing of the chemise through the sleeve.

I'll do a small roll hem in each slit. I'll create cuffs that are also similar to the chemise tight cuff to highlight the ruff I put at the end of the chemise cuff. Then I'll tack the openings closed at certain points. We'll see how it goes.
